Our paper is always sourced from FSC and PEFC certified forests. This means that we only work with suppliers that comply with the highest environmental standards. Both of our white and cream refills are made with acid free paper, therefore lasting a lot longer than standard paper. Also, no known animal-derived products are used in our manufacturing processes, nor that of our suppliers.

The leathers used in all Filofax leather products are by-products of the food industry and we do not use hides from animals that are bred specifically for leather production. We are also very mindful of the use of harmful chemicals and dyes and are committed to making well informed choices in the future, in order to reduce our environmental impact.

We pride ourselves on the fact that the majority of our plastic packaging is all recyclable. We also use mostly cardboard or paper for our Accessories and Refills packaging - the perfect materials that can be recycled at home.
